CASS™ Certification

Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS™) enables the experts at KEPHA to help clients evaluate their databases for accuracy by interfacing directly with the  United States Postal Service (USPS). This specialized process corrects and matches street addresses often identifying addresses that are undeliverable or are a duplicate from somewhere else in the list. KEPHA offers CASS™ certification to all regular clients at no additional charge. The result is quality address-matching, improved accuracy, and  the addition of the ZIP+4 carrier route in addition to the regular five-digit coding. The outcome is a substantial reduction in the cost of postage for KEPHA client churches and organizations.

KEPHA  renews and re-certifies databases before every mailing.

You can learn more about CASS™ Certified products listed in USPS literature and on its website. CASS software will correct and standardize addresses. The certifications process may also add missing address information to ensure the address is complete. KEPHA's CASS™ software will also perform delivery point validation to verify whether or not an address is a deliverable address and check against the USPS Locatable Address Conversion System to update addresses that have been renamed or renumbered.

A correct address saves the Postal Service time, money and manpower by reducing the volume of 1) non-deliverable mail; 2) unsorted mail; 3) mail that is deliverable, but requires extra effort to determine the proper location to deliver it to. KEPHA clients mailers who use the CASS™ process often qualify for discounted postage rates from the USPS.
